Camping Trip in North Georgia near Ellijay
Dates: May 26-28, 2018
Meeting Time: 8:00 am on Saturday May 26, 2018
Meet at: Intown Community Church
Cost: $70 – includes gas for driver, food, and camping fees.

Come enjoy a fun camping trip in the mountains near Ellijay Georgia. We will provide most of the food, and camping equipment (tents and cooking equipment). You just need to bring hiking clothes and sleeping clothes, pillow and a sleeping bag if possible.
We will be camping in the Coosawattee River Resort on the banks of a gently flowing river. The camping sites are nicely shaded and there is a shower and restroom although it’s nothing fancy.
We will arrive at the campsite on Saturday morning and be back at Intown at about 6:30 pm on Monday. We will do some hikes on all three days.
This trip is only for people who have hiked with Atlanta Hikes in the last 2 years and is limited to 15 people so please sign up quickly if you want to go. You will need to give a non refundable deposit of $20 if you want to go. You can give it to Rony or Peter. Unless you are bringing a child please do your own sign up. Children need to be age 7 or older as we will do some hikes that might prove difficult for a younger child.
On Saturday morning we will drive to the campsite and stop for a snack and buy some lunch (the only meal you will have to buy). We will set up the campsite and then go on a short hike. Dinner will be cooked on site on Saturday night and Sunday night. Breakfast will also be cooked on Sunday and Monday morning. Lunches you can prepare from the provided food (mostly sandwiches).
