 nHike Leader: Rony Koshy\n\nThere are many miles of hiking trails in Unico
 i State Park. The trails provide a great opportunity to enjoy the scenery 
 of the north Georgia mountains\, with views and hiking experiences that ch
 ange with each season. We will be hiking 2 different trails which will tot
 al about 5.5 miles in distance. The hikes are not difficult as they are mo
 stly near the lake area or downhill.\n\nThe trail ends in the town of Hele
 n\, GA where we will spend some time enjoying the sights of the alpine tow
 n.\n\nLAKE TRAIL\nThis is an easy 2.5 mile loop trail. It is relatively fl
 at and varies from a forest road to a narrower single track trail. There a
 re many nice views of the lake\, the forest\, and the mountains along its 
 route. A great fall hike for viewing leaves.\n\nUNICOI/HELEN TRAIL\n3 mil
 es\, one-way\, Compacted Soil Surface\nThis trail winds through rhododendr
 ons and mountain laurels. It\ncrosses Lower Smith Creek and several small 
 streams and intersects with\nthe Mountain Biking Trail before reaching Hel
 en’s Unicoi Hill City Park.\n\nRequired Items\nDaypack / Backpack\n1 to
