 s in Unicoi State Park. In the spring and summer you will find colorful bl
 ooms and buds. We will be hiking the trails around the lake which will tot
 al about 3 miles in distance. The hikes are not difficult as they are most
 ly near the lake area.\n\nKayak\nWe will also plan to rent some kayaks and
  paddle around the lake for an hour. Life jackets are provided.\n\nWe will
  stop in the town of Helen\, GA for sightseeing and window shopping.\n\nTh
 ings to bring:\n– Lunch or snacks\n– Backpack\n– Water (1 liters)\n
 – Hiking Shoes/good tennis shoes\n– Sunglasses / hat\n– Sunscreen\n-
  Money for the kayak rental\n- $ 15 for carpool driver\n\nLake Trail\n2.5 
 mile loop. Compacted Soil Surface. Rated easy.\nThis trail is mostly flat 
 as it winds around the edge of the 53-acre Unicoi Lake. A pleasant loop tr
 ail with views of Unicoi Lake and surrounding mountains.
