DESCRIPTION:Date: Saturday\, September 17\, 2016\nCarpool Time: 10:30 AM 
 at Intown Community Church\nCost: $15 ($10 for driver and $5 for tube rent
 al).\nTubing Time: 2.5 hours\nHiking distance: 5.5 miles. 1100 feet climb.
 \nHike Leader: Peter de Lastic (770-880-2966)\n\nAge Limit: Any age for tu
 bing.  Age 10 and older for the hike.\n\nWe’ll be renting tubes from Co
 ol River Tubing Company. Children welcome but you’ll have to keep up wit

 ng the following:\n- Swimwear\n- Snacks Packed/Lunch\n- Cash for driver an
 d tube rental\n- Change of clothes and footwear\n- Towel Shoes that you do
 n’t mind getting wet\n- Water bottle\n\nRecommended Items:\n- Short stic
 k (about 3’ in length) or hiking pole – useful for pushing off the ban
 k\n- Hat\n- Sunscreen\n- Bug Spray or wipes\n- Flashlight - if you join hi
 king.\n\nWe will start the hike around 5:30 pm which will give us time to 
 prepare after the tubing and maybe get some dinner at Helen. Sunset at Yon
 ah will be about 8pm so that will give us time to make the hike to the top
 .\n\nPlease note that if you do the sunset hike you will not be home until
  around midnight\n\nYonah Mountain is located near Helen Ga. There is app
 roximately a 1500 ft elevation gain in around 2.5 miles. As we near the to
 p\, we will veer off the main trail and hike along the side of the exposed
  rock face. We will spend some time on a rocky outcrop with an excellent v
 iew near the top of the mountain and then move around to another rocky ou
 tcrop on the west side to view the sunset.  It does involve some steep se
 ctions and rocky terrain\, and should prove to be moderately strenuous. Th
 is is a D3 level hike.\n\nPlease note we will be coming down in the dark. 
 There is a full moon this weekend so if there’s not too much cloud cover
  we will have some light. However you should bring a flashlight.\n\n\n\n[c
