 e Leader: Rony \n\nTallulah Gorge State Park has some great looking water
 falls and easily walked trails. One of the most spectacular canyons in th
 e eastern U.S.\, Tallulah Gorge is two miles long and nearly 1\,000 feet d
 eep. Visitors can hike rim trails to several overlooks. A suspension brid
 ge sways 80 feet above the rocky bottom\, providing spectacular views of t
 he river and waterfalls.\n\nTightrope walkers have twice crossed the gorge
 \, and visitors can still see towers used by Karl Wallenda. Exhibits in th
 e park’s Interpretive Center highlight the rich history of this Victoria
 n resort town\, as well as the rugged terrain and fragile ecosystem of the
  area. The persistent trillium\, monkey-face orchid and green salamander a
 re protected species found within the gorge. An award-winning film takes v
 iewers on a dramatic journey through the gorge\, including footage of rock
  climbers and kayakers.\n\nOn this Saturday\, the water release from the d
 am is for whitewater boating\, the flow is 500 CFS. Water thunders through
  the gorge as kayakers challenge their skills &amp\; spectators watch from
  the rim. The Peregrine Falcons have been spotted again at Tallulah Gorge 
 State Park. If we are lucky\, we may be able to spot them from the South R
 im trail.\n\nBe aware that there are several steps to climb up and down.\n
