 ountain is nestled in the 3200-acre Stone Mountain Park\, campgrounds\, gl
 assy lakes and miles of hiking and running trails. The park blends urban a
 nd natural\, offering both beautiful swaths of forest and exceptional moun
 taintop views.\n\nCherokee Trail will take you through the woods\, around 
 the lakes and around the side of the mountain. It's a great opportunity to
  see parts of Stone Mountain park that you may not have seen before. Enjoy
  the wild yellow daisies that bloom at this time of the year along the mou
 ntain trails. The hike is about 3 - 4 miles long. Towards the end of the h
 ike\, we will take a steep trail to the top of the mountain to sit and wat
 ch the sunset. Then we will hike down at dusk back to the cars. We will ar
 rive back to Intown Church around 9:00 pm\n\n Things to bring:\n- Good ten
 nis shoes\, hiking shoes or boots\n- 1.0 liters of water\n- packed early D
 inner - late lunch / Snacks\n- Layered clothing\n- Flashlight / headlamp\n
