 op of Stone Mountain but not many have walked the trail through the woods\
 , around the lakes and around the side of the mountain. This is where the 
 Cherokee Trail will take you and it's a great opportunity to see parts of 
 Stone Mountain park that you may not have seen before. The hike is about 6
  miles long and will take about 3 hours to complete.\n\nThings to bring:\n
 Good tennis shoes\, hiking shoes or boots\n1 - 1.5 liters of water\nSnack
 s\, Packed Lunch\nLayered clothing (fleece jackets are good to keep warm)\
 nGloves\, Hat\, Scarf etc (to cover ears / hands to keep warm)\nSmall back
 pack  (to carry above items)\nCamera (optional)
