 tain Industrial Blvd\, Stone Mountain\, GA 30083.\nCost: Entrance to the 
 park is $10:00 per car so carpooling in together will save costs which wil
 l be $2.50 if we have 4 people per car.\nHike Leader: Peter de Lastic (770
 -880-2966)\n\nStart the New Year off right with a hike. We are even starti
 ng later so you can get some extra sleep after the New Years festivities. 
 Many people have walked up the main walk-up trail to the top of Stone Moun
 tain but not many have walked the trail through the woods\, around the lak
 es and around the side of the mountain. This is where the Cherokee Trail w
 ill take you and it's a great opportunity to see parts of Stone Mountain p
 ark that you may not have seen before. The hike is about 5.5 miles long an
 d will take about 3 hours to complete. It may be 2 miles longer if we dec
 ide to include the walk up trail to the top of the mountain.\n\nThings to
