 of Georgia’s “Little Grand Canyon.” The red and purple hues of the s
 oft canyon soil\, make a beautiful natural painting at this unique park. V
 isitors can enjoy views of the canyons from the rim trail\, and can also v
 enture into the canyon to experience a truly unique perspective. A visitor
  center explains how the massive gullies (the deepest being 150 feet) were
  caused by erosion due to poor farming practices in the 1800s.\n\nWe will 
 be hiking in and out of the nine different canyons and also on the rim. Wh
 ile we are in the canyons we will frequently be hiking in a creek bed. You
 r feet may get WET if you don’t have waterproof shoes. It is recommended
  that you wear hiking boots on this trail because of the wet areas. You sh
 ould bring a change of shoes/socks and a plastic bag to put your muddy sho
 es into after the hike.\n\nThings to bring:\n\n- Daypack / Backpack\n- Wat
