 Hike Leader: Peter de Lastic\n\nThe Pine Mountain Trail\, a 23 mile footpa
 th that crosses and follows the beautiful Pine Mountain ridge\, offers cle
 ar crisp views of distant ridges in winter\, with occasional snowfall\, to
  the lush greens of summer ferns and foliage of lowland flora.  Wildflowe
 rs are abundant and spring brings flowering dogwood\, native azalea\, moun
 tain laurel and rhododendron. Fall brings bright and beautiful colors\, ch
 anging from day to day. With the connector trails that form seven loops th
 ere are over 40 miles of hiking trails for your enjoyment.\n\nWe will be h
 iking about 7 miles on the trail and maybe shuttle cars so we don't have t
 o hike on the same part of the trail. Please note this will be a different
