Picnic By the Lake

Potluck Picnic at Lake Lanier / Buford Dam Beach

Saturday May 17^th 2025
Carpool time: 9:30 am Intown Church

We are heading to Buford Dam Park at Lake Lanier for the Atlanta Hikes / IFC Picnic, in collaboration with International Friendship Community at Intown Church! There’ll be good food, games, swimming, kayaking, and lots of fun.
If you like, please bring a dish or drinks to share with others.

Tentative Picnic Schedule (5/17/25):

• 9:30 AM – Depart from Intown
• 10:10 AM – Unload and carry supplies to the picnic site
• 11:00 AM – Set up tables, start the grill, prepare side dishes
• 12:00 PM – Lunch begins (food and grill available throughout the day)
• Afternoon – Fun activities: hiking, games, swimming, etc.
• 3:30 PM – Begin clean-up
• 4:30 PM – Head back to Intown

If you are willing to be a carpool rider, please indicate that in the signup comments. We are definitely looking for volunteers to carpool people.
