 n Community Church\nCost: $ 5 per person (for carpool cost)\n\nWe invite y
 ou to continue our celebration of 15 years of our hiking group this Saturd
 ay\, May 13 at Lake Lanier. We are hosting a Potluck Picnic.\n\nWe plan on
  grilling hamburgers (beef)\, hot dogs\, chips and soft drinks. This is a 
 Potluck event. So you are welcome to bring food to share with the group. S
 uggestions include fruits\, salads\, chips\, drinks\, desserts. You can al
 so bring food that are ready to be cooked/grilled as well (such a kabobs\,
  marinated meat\, vegetables for grilling)\n\nThe water is warm enough to 
 go for a swim. Bring your swimwear and towel if you would like to go for a
  swim at the beach at Lake Lanier. There are restroom areas where you can 
 change as well. If you want to wear shorts\, you could just wade knee dee
 p into the water.\n\nThere are some places we could play some games like v
 olleyball\, bocce ball\, croquet and frisbee too. In addition\, there are 
 trails for a short walk near the lake. The area is shaded in places but yo
 u might want to bring a hat / sunglasses / sunscreen.\n\nThere is no cost 
 for this event except for $ 5.00 person for the carpool driver. Based on t
 he number of signups\, we are looking for volunteers for carpool. If you a
 re willing to be a carpool driver for the day\, please put a note in the c
 omments when you register for the event.
