 l Battlefield that preserves a Civil War battleground of the Atlanta Campa
 ign. Opposing forces maneuvered and fought here from June 19\, 1864 until 
 July 2\, 1864. Although most famous as a Civil War battlefield\, Kennesaw 
 Mountain has a much richer story.\n\nWe will be hiking a 5.5 miles loop fr
 om the Visitor Center to Pigeon Hill. After the hike we will spend a littl
 e time touring the Visitor Center.\n\nThings to bring: - Lunch or snacks -
