 great hike for beginners to hiking. It has some great views and not too st
 renuous. John’s Mountain is located near Villanow\, Georgia and is part 
 of the Armuchee Ridges. The hike will involve a climb of about 800 feet ov
 er a distance of about 2 miles. On the way up we’ll stop for a break at 
 Keown Falls. The trail then moves on to the top of John’s Mountain and w
 here there is a great view and a large observation deck. We’ll stop for 
 lunch and then do a loop hike of the ridge which will put us back at Keown
 Falls where we can make our descent back to the trailhead.\n\nThings to br
