 \nJames H. Floyd State Park is located in North West Georgia on the southe
 rn end of the Armuchee Ridges. Come and enjoy the beautiful Fall weather. 
 This is a good beginners hike which almost anyone should be able to do. Th
 e hiking distance is only about 5 miles and half of that is around the lak
 e at the park. There is a climb onto the ridge of about 600 feet.\n\nOptio
 nal: On our return back home\, we may stop at Berry College\, Rome GA and
