 amazed at the breathtaking colors of Georgia’s “Little Grand Canyon.
 ” The red and purple hues of the soft canyon soil\, make a beautiful nat
 ural painting at this unique park. Visitors can enjoy views of the canyons
  from the rim trail\, and can also venture into the canyon to experience a
  truly unique perspective. A visitor center explains how the massive gulli
 es (the deepest being 150 feet) were caused by erosion due to poor farming
  practices in the 1800s.\n\nWe will hike part of the rim of the canyon and
  also in and out of the various canyons which on occasions is along a cr
 eek bed.  Your feet will get WET if you don’t have waterproof shoes. It
  is recommended that you wear hiking boots on this trail because of the we
 t areas and the ruggedness of the trail.\n\nThings to bring:\n- Water 1-2
