 e Cooper Branch Trail mostly follows the shoreline of Allatoona Lake offer
 ing the hiker scenic views of Allatoona Lake. There are some bluebird boxe
 s and down trees which is an excellent habitat for wildlife. If you look c
 losely and are quiet you might see some bluebirds and other wildlife while
  walking the trail. This trail consists of hills and the forest has mixed 
 pine and hardwoods.\n\nCooper’s Furnace Trail - length: 1 mile\nThe Coop
 er’s Furnace Trail follows the route of a 19th Century mining railroad t
 hrough a mixed pine and hardwood forest. The forest has a rich variety of 
 trees\, shrubs\, wildflowers\, and an abundance of wildlife. A beaver and 
 a muskrat inhabit the pond at the end of the trail.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nLaurel R
 idge Trail - length: 1 mile \n\nThe Laurel Ridge Trail crosses the slopes 
 of mixed a pine and hardwood covered ridge overlooking the Etowah River Va
 lley. Theses slopes are graced by a variety of trees\, shrubs\, and wildfl
 owers. Wildlife and breathtaking Blue Ridge vistas are common to this trai
 l. You will be able to access the Pine Mountain Recreation Area from this 
 trail. Pine Mountain Recreation Area is managed and maintained by Cartersv
 ille Parks and Recreation.\n\nVineyard Mountain Eagle Scout Trails (part o
 f Yellow Trail)\nThe Vineyard Mountain Eagle Scout Trail traverses the for
 ested slopes of Vineyard Mountain. From its lofty vantage points\, hikers 
 are provided beautiful vistas of the Etowah River Valley\,\n\nAllatoona Da
 m\, the Cooper’s Furnace historic area and Allatoona Lake. Wildlife whic
 h may be encountered includes deer\, turkey\, fox\, bobcat\, squirrel\, an
 d rabbit. Birds frequently seen are hawks\, blue jays\, songbirds\, and cr
 ows. Occasionally\, a Bald Eagle may even be spotted along the river.\n\nT
