 erson\nHike Leader: Rony Koshy\n\nLocated on the western edge of Lookout 
 Mountain\, this is one of the most scenic parks in the state\, offering ru
 gged geology and beautiful vistas. The park straddles a deep gorge cut int
 o the mountain by Sitton Gulch Creek. The most spectacular view into the c
 anyon is found near the picnic area parking lot\; however\, additional vie
 ws can be found along the rim trail. Hardy visitors who hike to the bottom
  of the gorge (including a 600-step staircase) find two waterfalls cascadi
 ng over layers of sandstone and shale into pools below. Outdoor lovers sho
 uld not miss this park's spectacular scenery.\n\nWe will be hiking the Rim
  trail around the gorge.\n\nOptional: If we have time and people who have 
 the energy\, they can hike down into the gorge which has about 600 steps a
 nd some waterfalls at the bottom.\n\nRequired Items to Bring:\n-daypack\n-
 hiking boots/shoes or good tennis shoes. No flip flops or sandals.\n-layer
 ed clothing\n-lunch\n-high fuel trail snacks\n-water 1.5 to 2 liters\n-cam
