The Appalachian Trail is around 2\,200+ mile (3\,500 km) long public foot

is a white-blazed marked hiking trail in the Eastern United States extend
ing between Springer Mountain in Georgia and Mount Katahdin in Maine. The
Appalachian Trail Conservancy claims that the Appalachian Trail is the lon
gest hiking-only trail in the world. More than 3 million people are said t
o take a hike on part of the trail at least once each year.\n\nWe will be
hiking the section from Tesnatee Gap to Neels Gap. This is a distance of a
bout 7 to 8 miles. Although this is a tough section\, it has some great sc
